Match Day Profits is a low risk tipping service that combines value betting and other positive EV betting strategies.
Paul Ruffy, who runs the service, has made more than £18,000 profit by taking advantage of value prices and various concessions that bookmakers offer.
Although he incorporates some low-risk betting methods, this isn't a typical matched betting service. It is based more around combining Paul's betting tips with daily/weekly offers to lower the risk of the bets.
He also includes some doubles and trebles to help prolong the life of your bookmaker accounts, whilst still bringing in consistent profits each month.
Even if you are gubbed at some bookmakers, you can still use the service.
Paul sends value bets most days that you will be able to bet on and you can often still bet on enhanced prices on restricted accounts.
Many bookmakers offer promotions on accumulator bets where you will get your money back as a free bet if one leg lets you down. In just one season, Paul made 64.62 points profit with an ROI of 69% from these offers alone.
Even without the refund offers, his other accumulator tips netted a further 41.87 points profit with an ROI of 44.5%.
As the stakes are kept low, you can get started with a small bank of £200-400 and usually your full stake isn't at risk because of the concessions.
I first reviewed this service back in 2016, where I made £244.65 profit in three months. It still looked to be going strong when I planned to revisit the service, with a reported profit of £2,571 for the 2021/22 season.
Since my original review, Paul added some each-way horse racing bets to the mix but he had mostly stuck to the same approach with the rest of the service.
I followed the service for three months out of the 2022/23 season and I'm pleased to let you know that I was again able to make a respectable profit.

Month One Update
Month one kicked off with a profit of £86.04 from the Betting Tips & Accas, plus a further £100.10 from the Free Bets & Offers. This made a total of £186.14 profit.
I split the Tips/Bonuses into two sets of results, which meant it was easier to monitor how well the tips were performing. Of course, I was pretty much guaranteed to make a profit from the matched betting offers.

Month Two Update
The profits continued into month two with another £75.55 banked. This now gave me a total profit of £261.69 since the start of the review from both betting categories.
Some of the Free Bets were advised to be used as straight bets rather than backing & laying to make a guaranteed profit. This helped to stay under the bookies radar, but I estimated that I could have made approximately £40 more if I had gone down the traditional route and cashed the free bets out.

Month Three Update
A great overall profit despite a loss on the Tips & Accas of -£99.04 in month three. I still managed a nice profit on the Free Bets & Offers of £82.10, leaving a small monthly loss of £9.28 but a great overall profit as shown below.

There were 96 betting opportunities in month one for the main part of my re-trial of Match Day Profits. There was a profit of £93.78 at an ROI of 32.5%, so it was a great start for the service.
The Each Way Value bets didn't do as well but I finished with just a small loss of £12.35 from those.
I recorded my results in GBP for this review, rather than points, as stakes are limited to certain amounts for some of the bookmaker concessions.

Month Two Update
The profit was really starting to build up nicely in my Match Day Profits review. I made £241.27 profit in month two from the main service bets, which made it a total of £335.05 profit overall.
Unfortunately, the Each Way Value bets weren't performing as well and were down by £88.65 so far.
It was still a decent profit on the whole and good to know that it was generally much lower risk than standard tipping services.

Month Three Update
Match Day Profits delivered a further profit of £166.60 in month three of my review, which made it an overall profit of £501.65.
The service has been ticking along nicely each month and made a nice little side income with little effort.
It was a shame that the Each Way Value bets continued to let the side down, losing £150.39 overall in the three months. It was hard to say whether these would be worth following in the long-term.

Review Summary
I completed two trials of Match Day Profits and I was impressed with the results and performance both times.
During the first trial in the 2016/17 football season, I finished with a total profit of £244.65 which worked out as an average monthly profit of £81.55.
At that time, the service was split between Tips & Accas and Free Bets/Offers, but it was the Free Bets/Offers that gave me the bulk of the profit.
I revisited the service during the 2022/23 season and it had changed slightly, but I felt that it was for the better. It seemed to be less focused on accumulators, with more of a variety of bets and offers.
In the second trial I made £501.65 profit and you can see a breakdown of it below:

There were some Each Way Value bets as part of the service, but they were separate from the main bets. Unfortunately I was unable to make a profit from these during my review, but there were only 42 bets so it wasn't a huge sample to go by.
Paul showed me a different way of betting and there’s no doubt that the methods he uses are profitable.
He has a sound strategy for making money over the long term with accumulator bets so you can't really go wrong by following them.
The advantage play offers add an extra safety blanket to his tips, lowering the risk but still giving the chance to bank some big profits.
The great thing is, the way that he advises playing these bets and offers makes it less likely to get your bookmaker accounts closed. This is because he is often "mug betting" rather than the old method of backing and laying.
In summary, I found Match Day Profits to be a fun service to review and it added some interest to the weekend football as well as mid-week cup competitions.
I made a decent profit along the way and was happy to award a pass.

Hi Glen, We took another look at the service recently and it still works on the same basis so we felt no need to do a re-trial.
Does anyone know if Matchday Profits is still operating? I had a recurring payment taken over a week ago but can’t access the members’ page – other than to be asked for a payment I’ve already made – and emails querying this haven’t been answered. So I’ve been charged 130 quid and I’m getting nothing in return.
