SVB Tips is a multi-sport tipping service that has reported consistent profits each year since it launched in 2019.
They cover a number of sports including tennis, darts, basketball and eSports, but the vast majority of bets are for the more popular football and horse racing markets.
At the time that I started my review, they had delivered 1,439.1 points total profit with 25.7 points profit achieved on average per month.
Their reported ROI on the football and horse racing tips was impressive at 11.6% and 20.2% respectively.

Tips are usually delivered between 8.00am and 12.00pm and it is not very often that there is a day without any tips. They are accessible through the Tipstrr website after logging in, or you can set them to be delivered by email through the settings.
I recorded bets from the service for three months and finished with a fantastic profit of 79.89 points at an ROI of 17.3%.
While I was pleased with the performance and gave it a "Pass", there are some things that you should know.

Month One Update
I had a really good start to my SVB Tips review, with 42.56 points profit banked at an ROI of 28.2% at the available odds.
The bets were a mixture of mostly football and horse racing and they covered a variety of markets, which kept it interesting.
As with some of the other football services on Tipstrr that I had tried, there were quite a few Both Teams to Score (No) bets, which seemed to be a market that was often overpriced by the bookmakers.

Review Summary
SVB Tips had a clean sweep during my review, with three out of three winning months.
They had already made a substantial profit in the first month, but went on to achieve even more and finished with 79.89 points profit in total.
I was well on the way to doubling my betting bank in just a short space of time.
There were a mixture of football and horse racing tips, which is something that you don't see very often and it seemed to work well. Although there wasn't any analysis given with tips, I found that I didn't really miss it.

There were a couple of issues with the service that definitely needed mentioning, firstly the timing of the tips and secondly the lack of bookies offering the advised odds.
The timing of the tips was fairly reliable, arriving each day at around 9.00am, but then they would trickle in for the next 1-2 hours, so it meant you would have to keep checking for the rest of the morning to see if there were any more.
If you are able to do that, that's fine, but if you work during the day and can't keep checking then it could be an issue.
For some of the football bets, I found that the odds were only available at one or two bookmakers, which wasn't ideal. If you don't have access to those particular bookmakers, then you would struggle to use the service.
I would advise checking the tipster's most used bookies on their stats page to make sure you have access to them first.
I was happy with all other aspects of the service and awarded a "Pass" rating.

Nevertheless, were you able to place the bets at the recommended odds easily? Did you use UK bookmakers and/or exchanges?
Would you have the results at Betfair SP?
Many of these systems either use UK bookmakers (meaning at a certain stage there is a big risk to be limited) or Pinnacle (not available from the UK).
Besides, is it easy to manage when you have a full time job and evening activities?

Hi Laurent, My results are based on UK bookmakers but I haven’t included Betfair Exchange in this one. I think some of the football bets would have poor liquidity on the exchange so I decided to stick to regular bookmakers. Betfair SP would only be there for the horse racing bets and this is a mixed sport service so I have left that out.
Yes, there is a risk of being limited in the UK, but for those who still have working accounts, it is still worth me doing these reviews and then they can move on to Betfair systems/services.
The bets tend to come through in the morning, between 8.00-10.00, so it depends on your job hours and whether you can get away for a minute to put bets on.

Unfortunately, I was unable to generate a profit with SVB during October’23.
Several of the bets were with Betfair Sports book. Although I had an account, they very quickly limited how much I could stake. I was only apply 1point = £10
I kept placing bets with them, even at the reduced stake. Then they just stopped accepting bets from me!
Unfortunately, most of the bets, primarily BTS were with Betfair Sportsbook. Other bookmakers didn’t offer the same overpriced odds.

Hi Alan, Thanks for your feedback on this. I don’t understand why they keep offering these odds if they are not going to let you bet. It’s crazy! The tipster has definitely found value here but it doesn’t look as though we will be able to take advantage of it for long before being limited.
