Finding a winning football betting strategy can be a challenge, but there seems to be a hidden gem within Scottish football.
Scottish Confidential is a football tips service that has been generating profits since 2015, with 202.14 points profit recorded at the advised stakes to date.
At the time of my review, the ROI for the service overall was reported to be a solid 10.15%. I would be extremely happy with that from a football tipping service.
The service is led by the mysterious expert known as "Braveheart", who supposedly has a knack for spotting opportunities in the lower Scottish leagues.
In these leagues, a bit of insider knowledge can go a long way. Information on players, teams and their motivation can be vital to whether a selection is a value bet or not.
Braveheart is selective with his tips and most of them are simple match odds bets.
On commencing my review, he was off to a strong start to the season with 17.42 points profit. I began tracking bets to see if I could match his reported profits.
Unfortunately, it did not work out and I experienced three losing months in a row, with a total loss of 36.59 points.

Month One Update
My first month reviewing the Scottish Confidential service ended with a loss of 6.51 points, which wasn’t the ideal start I was hoping for.
There were a few surprising results along the way and the tipster had mixed in some multiple bets. If just one or two of those had come through, it could have made a significant difference to the overall profit, so I was optimistic about what was to come.

Month Two Update
The second month of my Scottish Confidential review didn’t go well, ending with a disappointing loss of 18.54 points.
Added to the previous month's loss, I was down by a total of 25.05 points, wiping out a quarter of my starting bank.
At this stage, it seemed like it would be quite a challenge to get back on track, but I decided to give it a bit more time and stick with the review for now.

Month Three Update
Things didn't get any better during month three of my Scottish Confidential review, with a further loss of 11.54 points.
After three consecutive months of poor results, I decided to call it a day with this service.
Unfortunately, it hadn't shown the consistency or performance needed to warrant continuing and I felt that it was best to move on.

Review Summary
After three months of tracking bets, Scottish Confidential has unfortunately failed to deliver the results I had hoped for.
The service recorded losses in all three months, with results of -6.51 points, -18.54 points and -11.54 points, leading to a total loss of 36.59 points.
This worked out as an ROI of -37.3% and a 36.6% decrease to my starting bank, which was far from the consistent and profitable performance expected.
Whilst the service showed some potential on paper having been around for a number of years, the actual results fell short during my review.
