OnTheNose won the 2020 Best Tipster rankings over at Tipstrr and we heard that they have started 2021 in a similar vein.
The service focuses on horse racing tips and has reported 119.1 points profit during the past 12 months, averaging 9.9 points profit per month.
They send out around 20-30 bets per month and they are posted the evening before the races to catch those, sometimes overgenerous, early bookmaker odds.
Tips are posted to the website but they can also be received by email if you wish. Results are also instantly updated on the website and there are all sort of statistics available.
The tipster also runs the Each Way Value Tips service, which earned a pass after delivering 108.7 points profit during our four month review.
A 75 point betting bank is advised and the tipster says that history to date doesn't suggest that the bank would be threatened at all. That's good to know!

It was a better set of results in month two of our OnTheNose review, with a profit of 8 points banked and more than double the strike rate of the first month.
We didn't quite make enough to cover the loss from month one, but it wasn't far off and if things continued the same way we would hopefully be in profit soon.

There was a profit of 7 points banked in month six of our OnTheNose review at an ROI of 25%. Although our review had been running for longer than the usual time frame, we had decided to carry on with it until we could make a clear decision on the rating.
Although we were in profit by 20.73 points overall, it was quite a low monthly average so we wanted to see if that would improve in the long-term.

In fairness, it's quite an achievement even just breaking even against the bookies, but that doesn't make things better for us. It was a far cry from being the Best Tipster of 2020 and we had hoped for much better.
