Draw Doubles is a betting service from John Baker based on backing the draw in football matches.

Selections can either be bet as singles or split into three sets of doubles, which are sent out daily via email with plenty of time before the start of the match to get bets on.

When there are more than three fixtures advised, John divides them into sets based on starting time and then alphabetical order to keep things simple. 

If betting on the selections as singles there is a recommended starting bank of 50 points and 150 points if betting as doubles. Alternatively, you can opt to bet on both singles and doubles and use a 200 point bank. 

The idea is that if you prefer a smoother ride then singles is the best way to go, but if you can handle more losing runs then doubles will give a better return based on the results so far.

Month One Results

It was a mixed start to our Draw Doubles review, banking 4.65 points profit from betting on the selections as singles but a loss of 14.33 points for the doubles. Betting on both sets of bets together would have resulted in a total loss of 9.68 points.

Month Three Results

Month three had our first loss for the single bets at 13.1 points and the doubles recorded another loss.

Thankfully we are still in profit overall for the single bets, although only by 1.72 points. The doubles have continued to perform poorly with three losing months in a row resulting in a 38.46 points overall loss.

Review Summary

Draw Doubles was professionally run but the fact is we did not make any money from the service.

With a hefty loss from the doubles and the singles only generating a small profit. We wouldn't have even covered the subscription fees if using £20 stakes.

Hitting a set of three winning doubles can return a massive profit but we just didn't hit enough of these to stay afloat and let's face it, not many of us can hold our nerve after 22 successive losing bets.

Sadly Draw Doubles has been given a fail rating but as we have seen, John is someone who is always trying to find new angles in betting and we are looking forward to seeing what he comes up with next.
